Really? Nearly a solid gigabyte for 2 hours of an old doc that was filmed then transferred over to vhs then digitized?

There's no justification for such a large file size.
The higher bitrate doesn't boost the quality of something that comes from a poorly archived source that has decades of age to it.

Before the entire 2 hour thing is done, a 403 error interrupts everything, making it impossible to receive.

Reupload it with a more reasonable file size, like about 200-300 megabytes. Lowering the bitrate will lower the file size but not the quality for something so old. It's lossy already on film & vhs.
